Refund Policy

WealthMutant offers a straightforward two-tier refund policy designed to be fair to customers while accounting for our operational costs.
Two-Tier Refund Policy
Tier 1 — Direct Purchasers (No Prior Trial)
Eligible for refund: Yes — 7-day window
If you purchased WealthMutant without using a free trial first, you are eligible for a full refund within 7 days of your purchase date.
- The 7-day window begins from the Razorpay payment timestamp
- Refunds are issued to the original payment method
- AI credits consumed during the refund window will be deducted from your refund amount at cost
- All other features used during the window do not reduce your refund amount
Tier 2 — Trial Users Who Upgraded
Eligible for refund: No
If you signed up for the 7-day free trial and subsequently upgraded to lifetime access, you are not eligible for a refund. The free trial exists specifically as your risk-free evaluation period. By upgrading after trialing the product, you have confirmed it meets your needs.

- On the registration page (trial confirmation screen)
- At the point of upgrade (payment confirmation)
- In these Terms
How to Request a Refund
To request a refund (Tier 1 only):
- Email support@wealthmutant.com with the subject line: "Refund Request — [Your Email]"
- Include your Razorpay Payment ID (found in your purchase confirmation email)
- Briefly describe your reason (optional — helps us improve)
We will process all eligible refund requests within 2 business days of receipt.
Processing Time
- Refunds are initiated via Razorpay within 2 business days of approval
- Credit card refunds: typically 5–10 business days to appear on your statement (dependent on your bank)
- UPI refunds: typically 3–5 business days
- Net banking refunds: typically 5–7 business days
- Wallet refunds: typically 1–3 business days
Processing times are determined by Razorpay and your bank — we have no control over them once the refund is initiated.
Partial Refunds
Partial refunds apply only in one scenario: when a Tier 1 customer has consumed AI credits before requesting a refund. In this case, the cost of consumed AI credits is deducted from the refund amount, and the remainder is refunded. We will clearly communicate the deduction amount before processing.
All other refunds for eligible customers are full refunds — no partial refunds for app usage, time elapsed within the window, or features accessed.
Chargebacks and Disputes
We take fraudulent chargebacks seriously. All WealthMutant purchases are protected by:
- 3D Secure / OTP authentication — every transaction requires OTP or biometric confirmation
- Usage logs — timestamped records of app activity tied to the account
- Terms of Service acceptance — recorded at registration and at the trial-skip confirmation gate
- Trial acknowledgment gate — users who skip the trial are shown an explicit confirmation screen before checkout that discloses the no-refund policy for trial users
All chargeback disputes will be contested with the above evidence. Customers who initiate fraudulent chargebacks will have their accounts permanently terminated.
