Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of WealthMutant ("Service"), operated by WealthMutant ("we," "us," or "our"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Account Creation

To use WealthMutant, you must:

  • Be at least 13 years of age
  • Create only one account per person — account sharing is not permitted
  • Provide accurate and truthful information during registration
  • Keep your login credentials confidential and not share them with others

You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. If you suspect unauthorized access, contact support@wealthmutant.com immediately.

2. Payment Terms

One-Time Lifetime Payment

WealthMutant is offered as a one-time lifetime purchase. There are no recurring subscription charges, no annual renewals, and no tiered pricing.

  • USD Pricing: $99 (United States and all other regions)
  • INR Pricing: ₹7,999 (India, based on detected region at checkout)

Pricing is set at the time of purchase. Future price increases do not affect existing customers.

No Subscriptions

We will never automatically charge you again after your initial purchase. There are no hidden fees, no storage fees, and no feature upgrade costs. All future product updates are included with your lifetime purchase.

Payment Processing

All payments are processed by Razorpay, a PCI DSS SAQ A compliant payment processor. By completing a purchase, you agree to Razorpay's terms and conditions. WealthMutant does not store your payment card information.

Payment Failure

If a payment fails or is reversed, access to paid features will be suspended until the payment is resolved. Contact support@wealthmutant.com for assistance.

3. Free Trial

WealthMutant offers a 7-day free trial with no payment required and no credit card required to start.

  • The trial provides full access to all product features except AI-powered features
  • Your data is preserved if you upgrade to lifetime access during or after the trial
  • After 7 days, your account moves to trial-expired status
  • In trial-expired status, you can view existing data but cannot create new transactions or access reports without upgrading
  • Your data is never deleted due to trial expiry — you can upgrade at any time

4. Acceptable Use

You agree to use WealthMutant only for lawful personal finance tracking purposes. You must not:

  • Use the Service for commercial resale, redistribution, or as a white-label product
  • Share your account with others or create accounts on behalf of third parties (except as part of a corporate license — contact us for bulk licensing)
  • Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or extract the source code of the application
  • Scrape, crawl, or use automated tools to extract data from the Service
  • Attempt to circumvent payment, trial limits, or access controls
  • Upload or transmit malicious code, spam, or illegal content
  • Impersonate WealthMutant, its staff, or other users

Violation of these terms may result in immediate account termination without refund.

5. Intellectual Property

WealthMutant's Property

The WealthMutant name, logo, Mutation Path framework, design system, codebase, and all associated intellectual property are owned exclusively by WealthMutant. Nothing in these Terms grants you any right to use our IP except to use the Service as intended.

Your Data

You own your financial data. The transaction records, budgets, accounts, and all other data you enter into WealthMutant belongs to you. We do not claim any ownership over your data. You may export your data at any time in CSV format.

We are granted a limited license to store and process your data solely to provide the Service to you. This license terminates when you delete your account.

6. Data Retention

  • Active accounts: Your data is retained indefinitely for as long as your account is active
  • Deactivated accounts: Upon deactivation, your data is scheduled for permanent deletion after 60 days. After this window, deletion is irreversible
  • Export before deletion: We strongly recommend exporting your data (Settings → Export) before deactivating your account

7. Limitation of Liability

WealthMutant is a financial tracking tool, not a financial advisor. Nothing in the app — including the Mutation Path framework, budgeting suggestions, or goal calculations — constitutes professional financial advice. You are solely responsible for your financial decisions.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law:

  • WealthMutant is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind
  • We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages
  • Our total liability to you for any claim arising from use of the Service is limited to the amount you paid us (i.e., the one-time purchase price)
  • We are not responsible for losses resulting from service downtime, data loss due to circumstances beyond our control, or third-party service failures

8. Service Availability

We aim for high availability but do not guarantee 100% uptime. Scheduled maintenance will be communicated via email when possible. We are not liable for disruptions caused by internet outages, third-party infrastructure failures (Supabase, Vercel, Razorpay), or circumstances beyond our control.

9. Termination

By You

You may deactivate your account at any time from Settings → Account → Deactivate. Upon deactivation, your paid access ends and the 60-day data retention window begins.

By Us

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account, with or without notice, for:

  • Violation of these Terms (particularly the Acceptable Use section)
  • Fraudulent payment, chargeback abuse, or payment reversal
  • Conduct that threatens the security or integrity of the Service or other users

In cases of termination for cause, refunds will not be issued. We will make reasonable efforts to notify you before termination unless doing so would harm the Service or other users.

10. Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any disputes arising from or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in India.

We encourage you to contact us first at legal@wealthmutant.com to resolve disputes informally before initiating legal proceedings.

11. Changes to These Terms

We will notify you of material changes to these Terms via email at least 30 days before changes take effect. The effective date at the top of this document will be updated accordingly. Your continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

For non-material changes (grammar, formatting, clarifications that do not affect your rights), we may update these Terms without advance notice.
