Looking for Mint alternatives? Mint's own site now says "Mint has been reimagined on Credit Karma", and some of its best-known features moved there. Credit Karma's help centre says it doesn't offer budgets the way Mint did, so if budgeting was why you used Mint, you'll want something else.

If you want sync, the way Mint worked
Credit Karma
Credit Karma is where Intuit moved Mint's best-known features, and its Mint page says plainly "it's free". It links accounts from more than 17,000 financial institutions and shows your spending by category and your net worth. Its help centre is clear on two limits: it "does not currently provide budgeting features the same way that Mint has", and its net worth feature "only supports financial institutions in the United States". Moving a Mint profile across is no longer offered. Its pages also note the site "may be compensated through third party advertisers", and it recommends cards and loans.
Monarch Money
Monarch is a subscription app built on syncing, with more than 13,000 financial institutions to connect. A partner can join at no extra cost, and its own FAQ says it serves only the US and Canada. YNAB
YNAB's method is to give every dollar a job. It can pull transactions straight from banks in 20 countries, the US, Canada and 18 in Europe, and manual entry, which its help centre calls "the tried and true method", works anywhere. Our YNAB comparison goes into the details.
Goodbudget
Goodbudget is envelope budgeting for a household, on the web, Android and iPhone. Its free plan can't link a bank and covers 1 account on 2 devices with 1 year of history; Premium adds bank sync for US banks.
A plain spreadsheet
A spreadsheet is private, yours to shape, and free if you already have the software. The catch is the upkeep, because every formula is yours to build and fix. Here is a spreadsheet next to Wealth Mutant.
Wealth Mutant

Moving in takes one afternoon
If you kept a CSV from Mint, or have any spreadsheet of your history, the template workbook takes it in one import.
